2024 Annual Report
“In a year marked by escalating injustice and growing calls for moral clarity, MPAC rose to meet the moment. We launched the Bureau of Academic Freedom to defend student rights and safeguard open discourse, expanded our Washington, D.C. office to strengthen our presence where policy is made, and welcomed new leaders committed to our mission. Through bold efforts like our national Palestine billboard campaign, we made it unmistakably clear: silence is not an option. These strides reflect our unshakable belief that advocacy rooted in faith, dignity, and justice can shape a more just future. ”

A Message From Our CLDP Leaders
REIMAGINE STRATEGY & LEADERSHIP TO
Meet the Moment.
This year marked a major turning point as MPAC relaunched and expanded our Washington, D.C. office, welcoming new staff members, moving into a new space, and building the foundation for continued growth. With renewed focus and leadership, we are scaling our presence in the nation’s capital to drive policy change, shape public discourse, and elevate the voices of American Muslims.
REINTRODUCE EMPOWERING VOICES TO
Celebrate Champions of Justice.
After a five-year pause, MPAC revived the Empowering Voices Awards, marking a momentous return to honoring those who advance pluralism, truth, and equality. Held in November in the Washington, D.C. area, the event featured high-profile honorees—including Senator Bernie Sanders (Lifetime Achievement), Shireen Abu Akleh (posthumous award), and Krystal Ball—alongside featured speaker UK MP Naz Shah . This renaissance reflects MPAC’s dedication to uplifting leaders who speak truth to power and align with our mission to defend American-Muslim values in public life.
